Charlies in ICU still, sedated & he looks so tiny in the room cos its dominated by a Dialysis machine & the Plasma exchanging machine.
Hes got 2 Nurses in with him, one just watching the Dialysis machine, the other taking his obs & just watching him all day.
We told Gareth & Lauren he was in hospital today, and they wanted to come home, we had already discussed it with Aly & Chris and they had said they didnt want them to come back from their holiday - I have a case of deja-vous here, I remember Gareth wanting to come home from America when our Godmother Elizabeth died & I know what he is thinking.......... I spent ages on the phone with him promising that if I thought there was any danger of things getting worse with Charlie I would call him ............... Lauren was adamant that if they needed to come home she would park the car in the nearest airport & fly home ................ must remember to tell Charlie how much Auntie Lauren hates flying so he realises how much she loves him!
